Admission Requirements
Academic Requirements
- Secondary school diploma (minimum average of 70%), or equivalent
- French 40S and English 40S (minimum 60%), or equivalent
- Mathematics 40S (minimum 60%), or equivalent
- A 40S science course (minimum 65%, biology and chemistry recommended), or equivalent
If you completed your secondary education in another province or territory, consult
the Canadian equivalents for the above criteria.
If you complete your secondary school outside Canada, consult the secondary school diploma equivalencies by country.

English Language Requirements
Although our programs are offered in French, proficiency in English is essential to the success of your clinical placements and future career. Educational resources, practicum settings and the College of Nurses of Manitoba require strong bilingual skills to ensure quality care in a variety of health care settings.
- Population having completed secondary education outside Canada: IELTS Academic (Listening 7.0, Speaking 7.0, Reading 6.5, Writing 6.5)
- Population having completed secondary education in Canada: English 40S (or equivalent from another province) with a minimum grade of 60%
