Gym Hours

What are your hours?

Sportex is open:

• Monday to Friday, 6 am to 9 pm
• Saturday and Sunday, 8 am to 6 pm
• Closed on holidays

Classes

What kind of classes do you offer?

Sportex offers a variety of fitness classes, from boxing to yoga. Visit our Programming page for the list and descriptions.

Membership

How do I try out your facility without committing?

We offer a special one-week no commitment package for only $20. Try us out for a week!

Do you have corporate discounts?

Yes. Some employers offer a rebate or a full Sportex membership to their employees. If that’s the case for you, we simply ask for proof of employment with a recent paystub.

What are my payment options?

A full upfront payment for your membership can be done at the Sportex reception, or online in the case of a regular membership. We also accept monthly payments by credit card or pre-authorized debit from your bank account.

What’s included in my membership?

A number of services are included in your Sportex membership, such as access to all equipment and space, as well as free parking. Visit our Services page for the complete list.

Do you have towel service?

Yes! Workout and shower towels are available at our reception. A $40 fee is required to obtain a token in order for you to make use of the towel service. Visit our Services page for more information.

What is your cancellation, transfer or refund policy?

Unfortunately, there are no transfers or refunds on memberships.

Can I freeze my membership and unfreeze it when I'm ready to go back to the gym? 

Temporary interruptions to memberships are not permitted. If however you find yourself unable to take advantage of our gym due to valid medical reasons, Sportex is open to discussing some flexibility in your membership.

Do you have free parking?

Sportex has 35 designated parking spots on a first come first serve basis. After 5 pm, the entire university parking lot becomes available. (See map)
