Help fuel a passion for discovery
Advancing knowledge and unlocking human potential to reach new heights—that’s our ambition. Today, we invite you to help bring this vision to life by supporting tangible initiatives that will create lasting impact and transform students’ lives, now and for generations to come.
A welcoming, inclusive and dynamic environment
USB has launched a series of consultations with our students to help shape the future of the library. By embracing our students’ perspectives, we’re reimagining the Alfred Monnin Library as more than a collection of books and media. Our goal is to create a dynamic hub that reflects the values, aspirations and dreams of everyone who walks through its doors each day.
We’re pursuing a bold vision for the library, with a wider array of spaces to meet the evolving needs of our students, research teams and campus visitors:
- Redesigned rooms to facilitate group work and training activities
- Eco-friendly LED lighting
- Durable shelving built with accessibility in mind
- A variety of ergonomic spaces
- Improved counter and print services
- Enhanced resources
- Expanded capacity for research support
