
The Étudiant d’un jour (Student For A Day) program offers French and French immersion high school students from Manitoba, grades 11 & 12, the chance to live a day in a university setting.
This event allows students to discover our campus, participate in mini-classes and interact with USB students. All this in French, bien sûr!
When?
Between Monday May 1 and Thursday May 11, 2022

How to register?
Register Here!
You will be able to sign up individually or with your friends, but you can also talk to your teacher or counsellor about getting some of your class involved.
This year, to ensure proper social distancing, there will be a maximum of 15 participants per day. Register early to make sure you have a spot!
Also, please note that a proof of double vaccination will need to be presented on the day of the event to allow participation.
What will I do?
Here is a typical Student for a day agenda:
9:00 a.m. | Arrival, welcoming remarks and snacks
9:30 a.m. | Mini-class: Video editing on your cell
10:30 a.m. | Break
10:40 a.m. | USB Campus Tour
11:10 a.m. | Mini-class: Intro to University
11:30 a.m. | Lunch at the Student Centre
12:30 p.m. | Flash meetings with USB students
1:00 p.m. | Drawing of prizes
How much does it cost?
Student for a day is free to attend. Snacks and a complimentary lunch will be provided.
