Transforming Vision Into Reality

Rooted in its community and open to the world, Université de Saint-Boniface (USB) is known as an intellectual, social and cultural hub that produces community builders. This strategic plan is an ambitious roadmap that will guide USB’s actions for the next five years.

As we embark on our third century of existence, we have heard and embraced the goals of our diverse community who want USB to not only be a pillar of postsecondary education in French, but also to further develop as a force for change, while being tuned in to current social and environmental issues and working to address them through its unique contribution.

Four Priorities

The 2021-2026 Strategic Plan presents four priorities to mobilize and inspire the USB community to work passionately and creatively toward its goals.

We are adapting our programs and training in response to students’ aspirations, the needs of the community as well as emerging trends in an ever-changing world, while shaping a culture of research.

We are reinforcing our University’s reputation and increasing its influence in the world of education, in our community and beyond.

We are implementing strategies that are essential to the success of our institution and our organizational advancement.

We are cultivating a welcoming and safe environment that fosters self-development and reconciliation, while celebrating diversity within the Francophonie.
