Entrance Scholarships

Generous Entrance ScholarshipsYou may be eligible for an entrance scholarship without even having to apply for one!

Every year, Université de Saint-Boniface grants a substantial number of scholarships to first-year students enrolled in a university or college program at USB.

It is possible to receive an USB Entrance Scholarship if you submit an application before March 1st. Eligibility for this scholarship is based on the following criteria:

  • Canadian citizen or permanent resident;
  • diploma from a Canadian high school;
  • minimum cumulative GPA of 80% at the end of Grade 12. This average is calculated based on the results in French 40S and Mathematics 40S (Pre-calculus 40S, Applied Mathematics 40S or Consumer Mathematics 40S) and in an additional 40S-level course in which the student received his or her highest mark;
  • application for admission submitted to USB before March 1st;
  • registration as a full-time student in a university program (18 credits minimum) or part-time in a college program (60% course load), upon graduating from Grade 12 or one year after having graduated from high school. As course load is determined on September 25, students must register for the winter term before this date.

Please note that international students are not eligible for the entrance scholarships offered by USB.

Go to ustboniface.ca/bourses (French only) for more information on entrance scholarships.
