November 22, We Open All The Doors!

Portes ouvertes - bourse de 1000$

It is one of the most important events of the year for Université de Saint-Boniface (USB): Open House! It’s an opportunity for future students and their parents to discover the marvels of the oldest Francophone university in Western Canada.

“Future students will have the chance to discuss with different faculty representatives, and see which programs might interest them, states Nathalie Roche, coordinator at the Recruitment Office. May it be regarding admission or career opportunities, it’s the time to ask all your questions!”

With guided tours of the campus, including science laboratories, multimedia rooms and the modern nursing sciences classrooms, November 22 will undoubtedly be an event to satisfy one’s curiosity. Open House will take place at the heart of USB, in its student centre, Centre étudiant Étienne-Gaboury, icon of the university’s spirit of warmth and inclusivity.

“Formerly, this event would take place in our gymnasium, explains Christian Perron, director of student services. This year, we decided to organize it in the student centre, the establishment’s nerve centre, in order to better demonstrate who we are.”
Among the many kiosks, one will find the student ambassadors, ready to welcome new recruits and answer questions. A draw for an admission scholarship of $1000 will also be held on the evening of November 22nd, a helping hand for a lucky student that will have received a positive answer to his or her admission application.
