Would You Like to Become a Lawyer or Study Law?

USB can provide you with the best path to get there, and you can do it all in French!

Spring in to a career in law! Your place is reserved! Université d'Ottawa and Université de Moncton admit up to 10 USB students.

USB has a total of 10 spaces reserved in the Common Law programs at the University of Ottawa and at the Université de Moncton in French for graduates from its Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science programs. Assessment is application-based, and the LSAT is not required for admission!

Why is USB a good springboard for a legal career?

  • No LSAT required.
  • It increases your chances of being admitted to limited-enrolment law programs.
  • Our small classes provide you with the support and attention that you need to develop your skills and succeed.
  • Our professors know their students well, which means they can write more personalised letters of recommendation, strengthening students’ applications.
  • Opportunity to do internships in French in your community, right here in Manitoba.

The first step is to apply for admission (in French only) to a three-year Bachelor of Arts (General) or Bachelor of Science (General) degree.

This option is available to Canadian citizens, permanent residents and international students!

Should you have any questions regarding the reserved spaces, please contact the Dean of the Faculty of Arts and the Faculty of Science.
