Enrolment
Registration for courses usually starts mid-July.
As soon as you have received written confirmation that you have been admitted to a particular program, you can register in person for your courses at the Registrar’s Office (Registrariat). Registration forms are available at the Registrar’s Office.
- If you have been admitted previously, but you have not taken any courses for five years, you must obtain authorization from the Faculty before registering for courses again. This is to make sure that courses you have already taken meet current program requirements. You must also submit the Application for readmission form (Demande de réadmission) available at the Registrar’s Office.
- If you wish to change faculties, you must submit the Request for transfer of faculty form (Demande de transfert de faculté) available at the Registrar’s Office.
- If you plan to study at Université de Saint-Boniface, you must register at this establishment, even if you intend to take one or more courses at the University of Manitoba. However, you must pay the fees for UM courses at the University of Manitoba.
- If you plan to register for one or more courses at USB, but your home institution is the University of Manitoba or any other college affiliated with the University of Manitoba, you must register at your home institution.
The details for payment of fees will be outlined for you at registration.
Each faculty, school or program may have specific academic requirements. It is up to you to learn about the regulations that pertain to you by reading the Academic Calendar, and to follow them.
You can have prior learning recognized. This may allow you to be exempt from certain courses. For further details, go to the PLAR Reconnaissance des acquis (French only) page.
