Tu parles!

The Tu parles! program is designed to help your children acquire French speaking skills that can be used inside and outside the classroom.

Our summer program boasts a true French immersion environment, adding summer camp activities to the existing structured language learning. Tu parles! offers a healthy mix of classroom time, field trips, outdoor fun and hands-on activities such as arts, crafts, music and games.

Children are grouped according to their language proficiency.

Tu parles! provides three hours of classroom instruction, focusing on oral fluency in authentic situations. Afternoons are an opportunity for the children to use what they have learned in a variety of camp activities and outings. Our instructors vary the focus of each week’s lessons based on the needs and interests of their group. Each theme leads to a dynamic final demonstration, held every Friday afternoon. Parents are invited to come and watch their children show off their newfound French skills. Past exhibits have been about jobs, rockets, volcanos, sports, the five senses and restaurants.

Who can participate in Tu parles?

Any child between 7 and 12 years.

Language assessment

Children enrolled in Tu Parles! may require a placement interview, either in person or on the phone. If a placement interview is necessary, a member of our team will contact you to schedule a meeting with your child.

When does Tu parles take place?

This year's camps take place from July 3 to August 24, 2018.
