Chaplaincy Services

At Université de Saint-Boniface, individual faiths and beliefs are respected and valued within the mosaic of different cultures that coexist in the university community. La Source (room 1132) is a meeting place for those who want to share these beliefs.

The Chaplaincy Services office is open to all and supports activities such as:

  • Spiritual renewal retreat (January)
  • Bible discussion
  • Ramadan celebration
  • Tuesday Eucharist (11:30 a.m.)
  • Evenings of theological discussion at the pub

Chaplaincy Services supports the USB Development and Peace committee. This committee seeks to build a better world by helping the less fortunate and promoting intercultural dialogue. Every two years, an awareness and humanitarian aid project is organised, which ends with a trip, for example to Mexico (2005), to Peru (2007), to Haiti (2009), to Mali (2011) and to British Columbia (Hesquiaht First Nation, 2013).

The Chaplaincy Services office provides individual spiritual support and counselling services.

Room 2325 is a permanent place of prayer open to people of all faiths.
